षट्तिला एकादशी माघ माह के कृष्ण पक्ष की एकादशी को कहा जाता है. इस दिन भगवान विष्णु का पूजन किया जाता है. इस एकादशी पर काले तिल के दान का विशेष महत्व होता है. शरीर पर तिल के तेल की मालिश, जल में तिल डालकर उससे स्नान करना, तिल जलपान तथा तिल के पकवानों की इस दिन विशेष महत्ता है. इस दिन तिलों का हवन करके रात्रि जागरण किया जाता है.
